"L! U! C! K! L! U! C! K!"
— The Q-Teez
INFO

The Q-Teez[1] are a quintet of female red pandas who auditioned for Buster Moon's singing competition in Sing. In their audition, they sang the 2014 song "Kira Kira Killer" by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Appearance

The Q-Teez are red pandas who are nearly identical to each other, save for minor differences in facial and tail markings. They have orange-red and white fur. They all wear the same outfit; A sparkly, long-sleeved shirt with a heart design, polka-dotted miniskirt above a pair of tights and flat shoes along with a polka-dotted, little bow on their head. Each of them wear a red, yellow, pink, blue, and green version of this outfit, respectively.

In Happy Holidays From Sing, the Q-Teez wear matching dark green shirts with a snowflake design, as well as pink polka-dotted bows, skirts, pants, and shoes.

Personality

The Q-Teez are experts in coordination, showing excellent choreography during their performances. They seem to have a love for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's music, and carry a pink boombox stereo with several of her songs. The Q-Teez are also good at improvising dance routines; when Buster catches them practicing in a backstage room without his permission, he wags his finger in disapproval. Instead, the Q-Teez are inspired and began wagging their fingers while dancing in unison.

They only speak and understand Japanese, which causes communication problems with the English-speaking Buster Moon. They fail to realize they weren't initially selected to be part of Buster's singing competition, and their enthusiastic and tenacious desire to participate leads them to frequently come back to the theater despite repeatedly being turned away.

Biography

Sing

The Q-Teez performed "Kira Kira Killer" by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu in their audition. Ultimately they were not selected to be part of the show. However, they mistook Buster's rejection for acceptance and continued to sing until Miss Crawly forced them offstage with a broom. Later, the Q-Teez practiced "Ninja Re Bang Bang" in a backstage room behind thick glass. Buster tried to stop them, but gave up after they turned his negative gestures into new dance moves.

After the departure of a few acts, Buster tried to inform the Q-Teez in Japanese that they could be part of his show. Unfortunately, Buster unknowingly insults their hygiene instead. This earned him a slap on the face from the girl dressed in green, and they all quit the show in disgust.

However, the Q-Teez come back to watch the concert in the theater ruins. After Ash performed her original song "Set It All Free", they all cheer for her. Later, the group attends the grand re-opening of the New Moon Theater.

Sing 2

The Q-Teez reappear in a cameo in Sing 2, singing along to Ash's "Heads Will Roll" in a gig performed by the latter.
