Da Internz are a production team from Chicago, Illinois. The duo is composed of Marcos "Kosine on Da Beat" Palacios, or "Kos", and Ernest "Tuo" Clark. Da Internz describe their sound as "gourmet ratchet"[1]. The team had their first major break in 2009 with Mims’ sophomore album, Guilt. The two produced and co-wrote six songs for the album[2], one of which, "Move (If You Wanna)", was released as a single on October 12, 2008[3]. In 2013, Da Internz received ASCAP awards for producing "Dance (A$$)" by Big Sean and "Birthday Cake" by Rihanna, two of its biggest songs to date. Da Internz is associated with several Grammy nominated-works. Justin Beiber's My World 2.0 (on which Da Internz co-wrote the hit song "Eenie Meenie") received a Grammy nomination for best pop vocal album in 2011[4]. Nas' Life Is Good (on which Kos and Tuo co-wrote and co-produced "The Don") received a Grammy nomination for best rap album in 2012[5]. In 2014, both Tamar Braxton's Love And War (on which Da Internz produced and co-wrote two songs) and John Legend's Love in the Future (on which Da Internz co-wrote and co-produced "Made To Love") earned Grammy nominations for best urban contemporary album and best R&B album, respectively[6][7]. Lastly, "Anaconda" by Nicki Minaj was nominated for best rap song for the 2015 Grammy awards.[8] In addition to "Anaconda", Da Internz has a co-writing credit on the Sing: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack's shortened and clean version "OH.MY.GOSH".
